Junior Sheet Metal Fabricators (Permanent) - 4-day week, Fridays off We''re recruiting reliable, motivated Junior Sheet Metal Fabricators to join a large, experienced production team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic and a keen interest in learning how to run press machines. Hours: Mon-Wed 07:00-17:30 and Thurs 07:00-16:30 (full-time hours over 4 days) - every Friday off The role You''ll operate fabrication machinery and produce high-precision sheet metal components and sub-assemblies, working from engineering drawings and to a defined schedule. Duties include: Setting up and operating fabrication machines including guillotines, bandsaws and presses Producing and assembling detailed parts for assemblies and welded assemblies Laying out, measuring and marking materials from drawings/templates using hand tools and calculators Using measuring equipment to confirm dimensions meet drawing requirements Reading and following engineering drawings/lofts, procedures and work instructions Attending and participating in daily stand-up meetings Working to all health and safety, quality and regulatory requirements Supporting workplace organisation and continuous improvement Maintaining a tidy, safe working environment Completing other duties within your capabilities as required Essential: Experience operating fabrication machinery (e.g. guillotine/bandsaw/press) Ability to work in a team to deliver parts on time Strong attention to detail, ..... full job details .....
