Junior Repair Technician

The Role

A great opportunity is now available for a practical, technically minded person to join a medical device manufacturer. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of medical devices in line with strict standards.

Main responsibilities

  • Servicing and Repair: Conduct thorough servicing and repairs on, including diagnosing functional faults and identifying faulty components.
  • Testing and Documentation: Perform comprehensive tests on all devices. Maintain accurate and records, for all testing, repair, and calibration activities.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and report potential improvements to processes and documentation to your supervisor.
  • Mentorship: Once trained, serve as a mentor and role model for new and existing colleagues, sharing your expertise and best practices.

Skills and Experience

While full product training is provided, we are seeking candidates who are:

  • Technically Minded: Has previous experience in a technical field, whether professional or personal.
  • Practicial: Experienced in the use of hand and electric tools.
  • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous, focused approach to tasks.
  • Computer Proficient: PC literate with experience using databases and spreadsheets.
