Junior Quantity SurveyorUp to £55kMacclesfieldAbout the RoleWe are looking for an ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.This is a great opportunity for someone with existing Quantity Surveying experience who is looking to develop their commercial career across a varied portfolio of mechanical, electrical and building fabric projects.Working alongside experienced commercial and operational colleagues, you will support the financial and contractual management of projects from tender stage through to completion and final account.As your experience and confidence develop, you will take on increasing commercial responsibility and greater ownership of your own projects, with a clear route for professional and salary progression as you work towards your RICS status.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include: Assisting with the commercial management of mechanical, electrical and building fabric projectsPreparing interim valuations, payment applications and supporting documentationSupporting the procurement and commercial management of subcontractors and suppliersPreparing tender enquiries, analysing quotations and producing tender comparisonsIdentifying, pricing and managing variations and change controlAssisting with cost forecasting, cash flow reporting and cost-value reconciliationsReviewing subcontractor applications and preparing payment recommendationsMonitoring project costs, commitments, contractual obligations and commercial risksWorking ..... full job details .....
