Are you an aspiring Quantity Surveyor with a relevant qualification looking to develop your career within a well established company offering structured training, mentoring and excellent long term progression?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced Commercial team where you will receive hands on training and support while developing your experience across New Build, Social Housing and Commercial construction projects.

This company is a well established manufacturer and contractor with an excellent reputation across the construction sector. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to develop an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within their Commercial team.

In this role you will work alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, supporting valuations, variations, cost reporting and commercial administration across a variety of contracts. As your experience develops, you will be given increasing responsibility with the opportunity to take ownership of smaller contracts and progress within the team.

This role would suit someone with a Quantity Surveying or related qualification looking to build a long term career within the construction industry. Previous Quantity Surveying experience is not essential, but you should be commercially minded, confident communicating with different people and keen to develop your practical experience.

The Role:

• Supporting Quantity Surveyors across New Build, Social Housing and Commercial projects
• Assisting with valuations, variations and commercial reporting
• Supporting contract administration and wider commercial activities
• Structured training and mentoring from experienced Quantity Surveyors
• Full time office based in Dunfermline

The Person:

• Quantity Surveying or related qualification
• Graduate or early career applicants encouraged
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commercially minded and keen to develop
• Commutable to Dunfermline
