Junior Quantity SurveyorSalary: Up to £55,000.00 per yearLocation: Macclesfield Job Description:Looking for an ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has Quantity Surveying experience and is looking to develop their commercial career across a varied portfolio of mechanical, electrical and building fabric projects. Working alongside experienced commercial and operational colleagues, you will support the financial and contractual management of projects from tender stage through to completion and final account. As your experience and confidence develop, you will be given increasing commercial responsibility and the opportunity to take greater ownership of your own projects, with a clear route for both professional and salary progression as you develop your RICS status. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the commercial management of mechanical, electrical and building fabric projects Preparing interim valuations, payment applications and supporting records Supporting the procurement and commercial management of subcontractors and suppliers Preparing tender enquiries, analysing quotations and producing tender comparisons Identifying, pricing and managing variations and change-control items Assisting with cost forecasting, cash-flow reporting and cost-value reconciliations Reviewing subcontractor applications and preparing payment recommendations Monitoring project costs, commitments, ..... full job details .....
