Commercial Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor Location: Surrey Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience Sector: Social Housing / Property Services Type: PermanentI m working with an established property services contractor looking to add a Commercial Assistant, Junior Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS to its commercial team.This would suit somebody who already has some experience within social housing, property maintenance, repairs, voids or planned works and is looking to develop further within a commercial or quantity surveying career.It isn t a traditional site heavy Quantity Surveyor position.The role is much more focused on the commercial management of day to day housing works, including Schedule of Rates, pricing, variations, subcontractor costs, applications and maintaining accurate commercial information across live contracts.As a Junior Commercial Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you ll work closely with both the commercial and operational teams, gaining exposure across the wider delivery process rather than sitting purely within an administrative function.What you ll be doing Supporting the commercial management of social housing repairs, voids and planned worksWorking with Schedule of Rates and assisting with pricing and commercial updatesSupporting quotations, variations and applicationsMonitoring subcontractor costs and payment informationMaintaining commercial trackers, cost information and supporting documentationWorking alongside ..... full job details .....
