A rare opportunity for a construction professional with some Quantity Surveying or costing experience to join a luxury residential housebuilder where you will shadow an experienced Commercial Manager receiving full training and support to become a Quantity Surveyor.

This award-winning housebuilder specialises in high-quality traditional new build housing developments, taking projects from concept through to completion. Renowned for their attention to detail and commitment to excellence, they have built a strong reputation for delivering homes of the highest standard. With a number of exciting regional projects underway, they are now seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their supportive and dynamic team

In this role you will be fully supported by the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for takes offs, measurements, applications for payment and other commercial duties. You will regularly visit live construction sites and liaise with construction professionals. You will be fully trained and gain full support and eventually run your own sites.

The ideal candidate will have a construction background with some Quantity Surveying knowledge looking to join a reputable company, known for their training, where you will work alongside the Commercial Manager to eventually be a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor.

This is a great opportunity for a aspiring Quantity Surveyor to take the next step in there career where you will have the opportunity to have a hands on position with internal and external training and development.

The role:

• Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveying
• Conducing take off and measurements
• Cost reporting and Conducting Site Visits
• Picking up changes/ variations to plan
• Assisting the Commercial Manager with any duties

The person:

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience or some knowledge
• Construction related degree or HNC
• Determined, hardworking and ambitious
• Looking to join a support environment where you will progress your career
