Junior Project Manager

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for an Junior Project Manager for our client, a local government organisation based in Bristol.The successful post holder will join the dynamic South West Net Zero Hub team. Reporting to the SWNZH Project Development Team Senior Project Manager, the post- holder will be supporting the development and delivery of projects for the South West region.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with demonstrable project delivery experience who is looking to grow their career in project management, particularly in the energy, climate, and sustainability sectors. This role is a temporary contract with an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office.Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:Coordinate and deliver small projects or work packages, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Build and maintain strong working relationships with Community Energy Organisations and Local Authorities across the South West region.Support the delivery of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GB Energy and contribute to linked operational plans.Assist in identifying interdependencies across programmes and monitor delivery progress.Contribute to the preparation of business cases and funding bids to secure additional resources.Coordinate internal and external project meetings, take notes, track actions, and ensure effective ..... full job details .....
