Junior Packaging Engineer

Our client, a leading global manufacturer is seeking a Junior Packaging Technologist to join their team at their site in Folkestone, Kent. This is a full-time, on-site position and is temporary ongoing.If you''re looking to develop your career within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the development and delivery of innovative packaging solutions.The RoleAs a Junior Packaging Technologist, you will support the development, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions across a range of consumer products, ensuring packaging meets quality, safety, sustainability, and cost objectives.Key responsibilities include:Conduct laboratory and packaging tests, experiments, and trial activities in line with established procedures.Assist with the development, evaluation, and validation of packaging concepts and materials.Collect, analyse, and interpret test data, preparing accurate technical reports and documentation.Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, packaging specifications, and testing results.Coordinate packaging trials and support the introduction of new packaging into production.Work collaboratively with RandD, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, and external suppliers to support product development projects.Assist in troubleshooting packaging issues on production lines and identifying practical solutions.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to ..... full job details .....
