Junior Manager Location: Devon/Cornwall (Hybrid working may be available)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceJob Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Junior Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is working towards or has recently achieved a professional qualification and is looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee the preparation of accounts and tax returns, provide expert advice, and support the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of new and existing clients. Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and providing accurate, timely advice. Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Completing corporation tax and personal tax returns. Maintaining client bookkeeping records and preparing VAT returns. Managing assignments from start to completion, ensuring work is ready for final review. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients when required. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Supporting, mentoring, and supervising trainees and junior members of the team. Assisting with the training and development of colleagues.
