Junior Management Accountant £28,000 - £32,000pa plus full study support Hybrid Derby PermanentA newly created role in a fast-growing and forward-thinking finance team, supporting a strategic finance transformation within a successful and expanding group. The business is ambitious, growing fast and aiming for FTSE 250 status.You will work closely with the Group Management Accountant and a highly regarded Financial Controller. The role offers excellent exposure to group-level reporting, budgeting, and acquisitions. The finance team is shifting from business as usual to a commercially focused, insight-driven function.You will be involved in:Month-end and management accounts completion and reportingBudgeting, balance sheet recs, cash flow forecasting, pre-payments and accruals, and variance analysisGroup financial reporting across multiple businessesSupporting audits and acquisition activityProcess improvement and reporting enhancementsWhat we are looking for:Part-qualified or studying CIMA or ACCA (or ready to start)Strong foundations in finance (AAT, finance degree or similar)Detail-focused, analytical, inquisitive and proactiveComfortable presenting financial information and improving processesInterest in audit, compliance or group finance is a plusYou will receive full study support, hybrid working (two days from home), and genuine progression in a team set to grow to 20 people.
