Junior Maintenance EngineerContract: 2 month rolling contractRate: £24.66phLocation: Grantham (commutable from Bourne, Oakham, Stamford, Spalding and Melton MowbrayShifts: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am)2 day shifts followed by 3 night shifts, then 4 days off.3 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts, then 5 days off. 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts, then 5 days offWe are recruiting reliable and safety-conscious Junior Maintenance Engineers to join a large, automated cold-storage facility in Grantham on a two-month rolling contract.The role is ideal for candidates with previous warehouse, production or machine-operating experience who are comfortable working around automated conveyor systems and industrial machinery.Temperatures can reach approximately -40 C, so candidates must be comfortable working in extreme cold. All necessary PPE will be provided, including insulated Flexitog clothing, thermal trousers, safety boots, gloves, balaclavas and woolly hats.The role also involves working at heights of up to 42 metres. Full working-at-height training will be provided, but candidates must be comfortable working at height and around automated equipmentKey Responsibilities Operate and monitor automated conveyor systems and associated warehouse equipment.Respond to basic system stoppages, alarms and operational issues.Identify common problems, such as cling film obstructing sensors or conveyor areas, and follow the correct procedures to resolve them. ..... full job details .....
