We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded, and proactive Junior Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer or someone with up to two years of post-qualification experience to kick-start their career within a dynamic, international, and creative environment.

You will work directly with a senior legal counsel, gaining hands-on experience across multiple verticals, including commercial, technology, employment, IP, corporate, and esports-related legal matters.

You will play a vital role in supporting the business''s strategic objectives and day-to-day operations. If you are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and want to contribute directly to business success, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

As Junior Legal Counsel, you will be instrumental in supporting our legal operations. These include:

Conducting legal research

and analysis on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple international jurisdictions.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating

a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to; licensing, influencer and talent agreements, sponsorships, partnerships, technology, service agreements and event agreements.Assisting the senior legal counsel

with legal due diligence, risk assessments, contract lifecycle management and improving internal processes.Assisting in managing the legal aspects of partnerships

with game publishers, broadcasters, and global brands.Collaborating closely with the Data and Privacy

team as well as the Risk and Compliance team, providing commercial legal support across their initiatives.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams , including Commercial, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, Technology, People Culture and Sustainability, and more.Maintaining and organizing contract templates

and legal documentation.Staying up-to-date with relevant legal developments,

industry regulations, and best practices impacting our business.Supporting the preparation of internal training and guidance materials.Adhering to all internal governance procedures and ethical guidelines.Participating in broader legal and operational projects across the group.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) undergraduate degree or equivalent academic qualification that meets the entry requirements for postgraduate legal training in the candidate''s jurisdiction.Successful completion of the Bar Practice Course (BPC) or Legal Practice Course

(LPC), or equivalent professional legal qualification relevant to the candidate''s jurisdiction.A qualified and licensed lawyer with up to two years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is preferred. However, we also welcome applications from newly qualified lawyers who are passionate about building an in-house legal career.Previous experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (technology, media, sport, entertainment or commercial law exposure is a plus)Strong academic record.Excellent legal research and drafting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), legal research platforms, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and professional standards

Other details:

This is a remote position and does not require regular attendance at our offices.Occasional international travel may be required to attend team off-sites, e-sports events, and legal training seminars.
