Our values run through our business and are Respect, Customer Care, By Learning We Grow, Team Spirit and Integrity.Title: Junior IT Support AnalystReports to: Grimsby IT ManagerLocation: GrimsbyShift pattern: Mon – Fri 8-5 (Some out of hours work may be required)Hours: 40Accountabilities·Respond to incoming support requests ensuring timely resolution of user issues.·Liaise with business users to understand, troubleshoot and resolve IT related incidents and requests.·Provide Windows desktop support, assisting users with hardware and software problems.·Troubleshoot network connectivity issues – LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi.·Ensure day-to-day IT operational checks are fulfilled, such as system back up checks, application availability etc. - address failures, where required.·Proactively engage with third party suppliers to ensure the timely resolution of any incidents and requests relating to their services.·Maintain accurate records for software and hardware.·Setup and configuration of new hardware and software.·Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide clear instructions for issue resolution.·Collaborate with IT team to escalate complex issues when necessary.Required Skills·GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or higher.·Be technically competent with good all-round knowledge of Windows 11.·Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.·Be self-motivated and a team player, able to act on own initiative and contribute to team objectives.·Provide excellent hardware and application support to business customers.·Able to work using own initiative - ''can do'' approach and attitude·Pleasant, confident, and professional telephone manner·Enthusiastic with a passion for technology·Good problem-solving skills and techniques·Knowledge/understanding of IT systems·Possess strong analytical / problem-solving skills and have good attention to detail.·Be eager to learn and enhance own abilities and develop technical skills.·The position will involve working in the production facilities and may involve lifting heavy IT equipment.The Person…We appreciate you will likely be at the very beginning of your IT career, so provided you’re able to confidently demonstrate your interest in the subject, we’ll be more focused on your passion for learning/development and natural fit with our core values.If you are passionate about technology and enjoy helping others resolve their IT challenges, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an entry level Junior Systems Support Analyst.25 days holiday + Bank HolidaysPension 5% employee contribution 3% employer contributionNew England Seafood - Grimsby, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, United ..... full job details .....
