Junior IT Procurement Manager

I am recruiting for a Junior IT Procurement Manager in Dartford to support IT Procurement activities across hardware, software, and SaaS, ensuring compliance, cost optimisation, and vendor relationship management.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, analyse, draft, and revise IT vendor agreements to align with business and legal expectations.Determine and negotiate pricing agreements, monitoring ongoing spends and benchmarking across vendors.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support business needs.Ensure procurement processes adhere to legal, financial, and compliance governance.Report on category performance, including savings, pipeline, risks, and issues.Work closely with IT governance teams, vendor management, ITAM and SAM to ensure lifecycle management.Manage IT contracts, terms and conditions, and entitlement workflows for hardware and software assets.Act as a champion for hardware, software, and SaaS solutions by maintaining good market and technical knowledge.Key RequirementsStrong technical knowledge of IT categories and vendor operating models.Good understanding of IT Contract Management, SAM, and ITAM platforms.Demonstrated experience in procurement or vendor roles, preferably in business partnering environments.Comprehensive knowledge of best practice procurement principles.Proven ability to develop and strengthen vendor relationships.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with ability to interpret data ..... full job details .....
