37.5 hours per week, permanentHybrid : 3 days per week at one of our offices: Head office (Stoke on Trent)A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic Junior IT Application Engineer to join our growing team.

This newly created role is designed to support our existing Application Engineers in delivering an efficient and responsive service to our end users, providing assistance and resolving queries related to our application systems.At Novus , we''re passionate about development, both in terms of technology and our people. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals who are experts in their field and who will mentor you as you grow into the role.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the team to ensure all solutions are up to date and fully supportedManaging software configuration changes to existing systems as directed by the Business, working to understand wider implicationsManaging 1st and 2nd line systems support issues within designated timeframes as directed by the IT HelpdeskAssist with the implementation new software and assisting with links to existing systems architectureProduce Technical Documentation for 100% of New and Existing Applications used within the Business, including end-user guidesAssist with all areas of technology including design, specification, configuration, testing, training customer, data transfer, close-out, monitor and supportTechnically supporting the wider IT team on relevant projectsAssisting with system and contract set-up including the cleansing and upload of customer data, schedule of rates, operatives etc.Back-office support, investigate unexpected issues, supporting the users as requiredAct as a go-between the customer and the 3rd Party development and support teams where requiredWhat’s in it for you?27 Days Hols plus Bank Holidays and the option to buy or sell holidaysHybrid working, 2 days from homeCompany pension scheme – up to 7.5% Employer pension contributionPrivate medical insurance and Life InsuranceA day paid volunteering per yearWe also offer a; Discounted Healthcare Scheme, High street and lifestyle discounts including Taste card, length of service awards, and more….A Little Bit About UsNovus Property Solutions is a dynamic, award-winning property maintenance, refurbishment, compliance, and decarbonisation specialist with more than 700 colleagues in 19 locations across the UK, providing a combination of local knowledge and national strength.
