Overview
Junior Interior Designer role at The Construction Index Ltd. Multidisciplinary practice based in North London; you will work across all stages of high-end commercial and residential projects. The practice was established in 2008 and has a team of 50 architectural and interior design staff, delivering high-end hospitality, commercial, retail and residential projects including refurbishment and new-build schemes. This is a permanent position.Responsibilities
Working on projects from start through to completionProducing design schemes and putting together presentationsAssisting on all stages of FFandE including concept design, bespoke furniture and joinery, specifications (soft and hard finishes) and schedulesInterior architecture; producing/assisting on drawing packagesAssisting on-site inspections and installations; liaising with suppliers, contractors and third partiesRequired Skills and Experience
2+ years of experience in interior design in a UK practiceDegree qualified in interior design or similarExperience and interest in working on a mixture of commercial, residential and hospitality projectsGood creative and concept development abilitiesProven experience working/assisting on FFandEExperience producing drawing packs and detailed drawingsProficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite; Revit experience is advantageousStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat you get back
