The Job RoleThis is a hybrid role based near Bridgwater, with relocation support available if required. You’ll be part of a project team delivering a flagship energy programme, supporting construction readiness and compliance while building your technical knowledge and industry experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and updating mechanical construction documentation
Gather and review technical inputs for assessments and reports
Coordinate with specialists to resolve queries from site teams
Contribute to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environment
Track progress of construction documentation and flag delays or risks
Help plan surveying activities and access requirements for construction
Learn and use digital tools for documentation and permitting processes
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering
Some experience in construction, energy, oil and gas, or other large industrial projects
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Good understanding of engineering documentation and technical drawings
Familiarity with large construction projects or regulated environments
Awareness of digital tools for permitting or document management
Experience supporting work packages or technical documentation
Knowledge of surveying or access planning processes
Problem-solving approach with willingness to learn and adapt
