Backend Developer - Go / AWS - Junior OverviewMy client is going through an exciting stage of growth, investing heavily in modernising its platforms with scalable, cloud-native architecture. They''re looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join their engineering team, working primarily in Go and AWS to build and maintain the APIs and services powering their platforms. London: 1-2 days/week on-siteSalary: £70,000 - £80,000Employment type: Permanent position Role and Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go Work closely with senior engineers and product teams to translate requirements into working features Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, databases, and backend services Support the ongoing performance, scalability, and security of backend systems Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to deploy and maintain services Skills and Experience 2-5 years'' professional software development experience Solid experience with Go Experience with AWS Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Strong engineering fundamentals and a solid delivery background Good understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) Interested, or know someone who''d be a great fit?
