Junior Geoenvironmental ConsultantLocation: Central LondonSalary: 30,000 - 35,000 + BenefitsAn excellent opportunity has become available for a Junior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established environmental and engineering consultancy in Central London. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or consultant with up to two years'' experience who is looking to develop a career in contaminated land, ground investigation and environmental consultancy while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.You will be involved in a broad range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and redevelopment projects across London and the South East. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all stages of site investigation, contaminated land assessment and remediation projects, with excellent opportunities for training and career progression.The RoleAssisting with Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments and desk studies.Supporting and supervising ground investigation works.Soil, groundwater and ground gas sampling.Logging soils and rocks to current industry standards.Monitoring contractors and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on site.Scheduling laboratory testing and reviewing analytical results.Assisting with Phase 2 Geoenvironmental Interpretive Reports.Supporting contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.Liaising with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies.Producing high-quality technical reports with support from senior ..... full job details .....
