Job Title: Junior Ocean Freight Forwarder
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Salary: -23,000 - -26,000 (DOE) plus bonus
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
We''re working with a well-established and growing freight forwarder who is looking to add a Junior Ocean Freight Forwarder to their Dudley team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years'' freight forwarding experience (ideally within ocean freight) who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their skills further in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of ocean freight shipments (import and/or export)

• Supporting the preparation of shipping documentation and customs clearance processes

• Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, and customers

• Monitoring shipments, updating clients, and ensuring smooth end-to-end operations

• Providing administrative and operational support to the senior forwarding team

• Maintaining accurate records on the company''s freight management system

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years'' experience in a freight forwarding role (ocean freight experience highly desirable)

• Eager to learn and develop within international logistics

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• IT literate with good attention to detail

• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
