Junior Financial Controller

Sewell Wallis are partnering exclusively with a market leading, high growth company based near Doncaster, in their search for a Junior Financial Controller. The is a newly created position, which is required due to a sustained period of growth, combined with exciting plans on the horizon. As the business continues to expand, there is significant opportunity for career progression and advancement within the role and wider finance leadership structure.Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading the day-to-day finance operations and supporting commercial growth. Your responsibility will include full ownership of end to end management accounts, business partnering with the wider commercial and operational departments as well as overseeing the transactional finance team, while driving process improvements. What will you be doing?Production of full month-end management accounts from start to finish, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.Assist the Finance Director in preparing monthly board packs, financial analysis, and ad-hoc commercial reporting.Monitor cash flow, budgets, and operational performance metrics.Act as the primary finance business partner to non-finance operational and commercial teams (tour coordinators, sales, and operations).Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 finance team members.Oversee day-to-day operations of the transactional team (Accounts Payable, Accounts ..... full job details .....
