Our client is looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to join their growing UK service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into mechanical/electrical engineering who wants to build their career in a varied, customer-facing field service role. You''ll be visiting customer sites across the UK and Ireland, working on specialist equipment used. No two days will necessarily be the same, with a mixture of preventative maintenance, fault finding, installations, repairs and customer training. What will you be doing? As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you''ll be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. Installing, commissioning and setting up new equipment at customer sites. Providing customers with demonstrations and end-user training. Completing accurate service reports and documentation using an electronic job management system. Working closely with the internal Helpdesk and Customer Service teams to ensure customers receive excellent support.
