From ideation to delivery, find creative ways to communicate political messages to key audiences by producing and distributing digital, platform-first content using a range of different formats, including vertical video and graphics.Responsibilities
Plan, produce and post effective platform-first content including innovative vertical video and graphics that can drive the political narrative and push messages to new, key audiences.Keep up to date with current trends, particularly on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, to ensure we create platform-first social media content.Produce reports on social media performance.Distribution of creative content online and in ads.Any other reasonable tasks as requested by your project manager.There is a requirement to do some out of hours work.Person Specification
Highly collaborative, able to build strong working relationships internally and externally.Ability to work consistently to high professional standards including to accuracy, honesty, quality, and evidence.Excellent understanding of the social media landscape, trends, and channels, especially vertical video platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.Strong personal commitment to progressive change.Excellent understanding of the UK’s current political landscape.Experience
Experience filming, editing and posting content within app e.g TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts (essential).Experience of creating or contributing to platform-first, video-centred online content that has seen growth and success, such as growing a TikTok channel.Experience of using editing software including Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Descript to design digital content is desirable.Skills
Strong writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills.Out-of-the-box thinker with a strong sense of creativity. You know how to make the most out of a moment and are ideas-led.Video editing and production skills.Graphic design skills.The ability to work in a fast paced team environment, delivering results quickly and to a high quality.The ability to prioritise your own workload and proactively come up with ideas.The ability to speak another language is helpful but not essential (German/Italian/French/Portuguese/Spanish/Swedish in particular).Benefits
