This is a great opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join a well-established subcontractor specialising in glazing, facades, and curtain walling, working on large projects across education, healthcare, commercial, and defense sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing enquiries from initial review through to final quotation. You will undertake take-offs, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions. The business is open to candidates at a junior level, offering full training and development for the right individual.

With that, the ideal candidate will have some exposure to estimating within construction and a strong desire to learn, alongside a hardworking and team-oriented mindset.

The Role:

• Reviewing architectural drawings and specifications
• Undertaking material take-offs
• Preparing detailed quotations and cost breakdowns
• Liaising with main contractors and supply chain partners
• Managing enquiries from receipt through to submission
• Working closely with internal teams to finalise tenders
• Office-based role

The Person:

• Some estimating experience within construction
• Hardworking with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Computer literate with attention to detail
• Resilient and eager to learn
• Commutable distance from Cardiff
