Junior Estimator

Job Type: Full-time Location: London Salary: Up to 50,000 (depending on experience) Reporting to: Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager About the Role We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Junior Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction or electrical background who is looking to develop their career within estimating and commercial project management. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects, from smaller works valued at approximately 10,000 through to major projects in excess of 10 million. You will work closely with experienced estimators, project managers, suppliers and clients, developing your technical and commercial knowledge while supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive project estimates. The Role As a Junior Estimator, you will support the estimating team throughout the tendering process, helping to ensure projects are priced accurately, competitively and within required timescales. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation. Assisting with the preparation of detailed project estimates and quotations. Taking off quantities from drawings and project information. Obtaining and analysing material, labour and subcontractor costs.
