An established specialist geotechnical and piling contractor is looking for a Junior Estimator to join their Nottingham team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in piling, geotechnical or civil engineering who is looking to develop their career within estimating and commercial project delivery.

Key Responsibilities of a Junior Estimator

• Assist with preparing tenders and project estimates
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing
• Support the preparation of tender submissions
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and project teams
• Maintain accurate estimating and tender records
• Assist with handovers from estimating to the delivery team

Requirements of a Junior Estimator

• Previous experience within piling, geotechnical or civil engineering
• Understanding of construction costs, materials and site operations
• Good attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence desirable
• Happy to travel
