The Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to develop within a leading fit-out specialist, gaining exposure to a wide range of high-profile projects.
You will support the estimating function by assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and tenders for interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Perform quantity take-offs for ceilings, partitions, and flooring systems
• Support senior estimators in pricing and bid preparation
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Help analyse project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project data
• Contribute to post-tender negotiations and project handovers

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards)
• Some experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or construction (placement or graduate role welcome)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Desirable

• Experience within interior fit-out, drylining, or related sectors
• Familiarity with estimating software
• Knowledge of commercial interiors, partitions, ceilings, or flooring systems
