Junior Engineering Technician Location: Haverhill Salary: £26,000p.a. - £28,000p.a. Hours: Monday to Thursday, hours will be between 06 00 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client, based in Haverhill, are seeking a proactive Junior Engineering Technician to join their Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and hands-on individual with an engineering background to develop their skills within a busy production environment. Duties for the Junior Engineering Technician will include: Maintaining a constant presence within the production environment Liaising with Line Supervisors to identify and rectify minor issues on production lines Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times Monitoring high-priority production lines to ensure production efficiencies are achieved Acting as the initial engineering response to breakdowns Carrying out low-level maintenance tasks Carrying out and assisting with production line changeovers as required Providing recommendations to Engineering staff for production line improvements Assisting Engineering staff with higher-level engineering tasks Assisting the Engineering team with housekeeping duties within the workshop and stores areas. An ideal candidate for the Junior Engineering Technician will have: An engineering aptitude with a practical and hands-on approach Demonstrable problem-solving skills Previous experience as a Fitter, Semi-Skilled Operator, Machine Setter or similar Good communication ..... full job details .....
