      <description>Location: Gloucestershire | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum | Type: Permanent | Hardware Design Engineer - Job Specification    Role Overview   This role is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of electronic hardware products. You will work across the full product lifecycle-from concept through to production-ensuring robust, high-quality and manufacturable solutions. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including firmware, product, and technical support to resolve issues and deliver reliable products to market.   Key Responsibilities    Design, develop, and evaluate electronic hardware assemblies and systems.  Produce and review electronic schematics and PCB layouts.  Support new product development as well as enhancements to existing designs.  Perform board bring-up, testing, and debugging of hardware.  Conduct EMC testing and ensure compliance with relevant standards.  Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure efficient production.
