Junior Electrical Design EngineerLocation: London (3 days office/2 days home) Salary: £30,000 Benefits: To be confirmedA growing building services consultancy is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to support their London-based design team.This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career who is looking to develop within a supportive consultancy environment.The RoleYou will assist in producing electrical designs and supporting senior engineers across residential and commercial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with electrical building services design workSupport production of drawings using CAD softwareCarry out basic lighting calculations using Dialux or ReluxAssist with preparation of technical documentationSupport compliance with British Standards and UK regulationsAttend internal design meetings and assist senior engineersRequirementsBasic knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD preferred)Familiarity with Dialux or ReluxUnderstanding of the 18th Edition (BS 7671)Basic understanding of Fire Alarm Design SystemsRelevant qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or working towards)Strong willingness to learn and developThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior engineer to gain hands-on experience and grow within a structured design environment.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
