Junior Design Engineer

Position: Design EngineerLocation: Sheen, BuxtonSalary: 28,000 - 35,000 - Depending on experience Design Engineer required for a well-established equipment manufacturer based in Sheen, Staffordshire. The succesful candidate will be joining a well-respected company and will be responsible for utilising Solidworks to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings. Design Engineer Position OverviewDesigning systems and products with the use of Solidworks 3D modelling softwarePreparing detailed specifications and technical drawingsResearching suitable solutions and producing cost quotationsProducing electrical harness drawings using 3D design softwareCreating Bill of MaterialsEnsuring projects meeting legal and safety requirementsDesign Engineer Position RequirementsEither degree qualified within an Engineering related subject or equivelant experience within a Design Engineering roleProficient with the use of SolidworksBased in a commutable distance of Sheen, BuxtonAble to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customersIT literate with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.Design Engineer Position Remuneration Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 - Depending on experiencePermanent position. Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00.
