Junior Delivery Manager / Project Manager

SR2 has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Delivery Manager or Project Manager to join a high-profile government programme supporting digital transformation across a range of initiatives, including AI, assurance and wider digital change programmes.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale government projects that are helping shape the future of digital public services.

This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years'' experience in Project Management, Delivery Management or PMO who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This is a long-term opportunity on a multi-year programme, offering excellent stability and the chance to work alongside experienced digital delivery professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of complex digital transformation programmes across a variety of workstreams.
• Work closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, product managers and operational colleagues.
• Coordinate delivery plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and actions.
• Support Agile ceremonies where appropriate and help maintain delivery momentum across multiple teams.
• Produce governance updates, RAID logs, reporting and project documentation.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to remove blockers and ensure effective communication.
• Help embed consistent delivery practices and support continuous improvement across programmes.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years'' experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, PMO or Project Support.
• Experience coordinating projects or workstreams within complex environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, risks and dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working within Agile, PRINCE2 or hybrid delivery environments.
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing a career in digital delivery.
