This role involves supporting the HQ Commercial Finance team in delivering exceptional service to the publishing department. Responsibilities span budgeting, forecasting, month-end analysis, acquisition PandLs, profitability reviews, and royalties reporting. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-finance colleagues are crucial. Key Responsibilities:Support budgeting and forecasting by ensuring accuracy, liaising with publishing teams, and preparing reports.Assist with the preparation of acquisition cases and maintain a financial pipeline for performance analysis.Perform month-end tasks including provisions, accruals, and profitability reviews with high attention to detail.Deliver timely reports and insights for monthly executive meetings.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and quarterly royalties reporting to support decision-making.
