Junior Chef de Partie

Argent is a boutique contract catering company delivering fabulous, fresh food and exceptional service to our many valued clients. We have an opportunity at our blue chip site in Fenchurch Street EC3 for a Junior Chef de Partie.Responsibilities:- Food preparation and cooking of fresh produce for our wide range of cafe and hospitality services.- Supporting the Sous Chef under the overall direction of the Executive Chef- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen in line with our food safety systemsQualifications:- NVQ / City and Guilds level 2- Previous experience is welcome but we are really looking for someone who has a passion for food and cooking, is ambitious and willing to take direction and learn- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Demonstrates superb attention to detail .Generally:- Ensure excellent communications between front of house and the kitchen- Ensure all cleaning schedules are carried out and maintained- To understand and comply with Argent and statutory hygiene, health and safety, and quality standards ensuring all tasks are always carried out in accordance to these standards and to work in a safe and tidy mannerThe ideal candidate:May be your first role after catering collegeIs a real foodie and has a passion for cookingIs customer focused, friendly and outgoingIs a team player, committed and enthusiasticCan work well under pressure, is flexible and adaptableArgent is an equal opportunities employer**All Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK**Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company pensionDiscounted or free foodSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Chef: some experienceWork Location: In personExpected start date: ..... full job details .....
