The successful candidate will work closely with the wider procurement and supply chain team, supporting purchasing activities and supplier management across the business.Key Responsibilities:Support the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activitiesRaise and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and servicesBuild strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersMonitor stock levels and supplier performanceAssist with sourcing new suppliers and negotiating pricing where appropriateResolve delivery issues and invoice queries efficientlyMaintain accurate purchasing records and system dataSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement functionThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roleStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailGood communication and relationship-building abilitiesA proactive and positive approach to workExperience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft ExcelA desire to develop a long-term career within procurementCIPS qualification or studying towards this would be ..... full job details .....
