Job Title: Junior Buyer
Location: Croydon, on site parking
Salary: -35,000 - -45,000
Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home)
About the Role:
We''re recruiting for a growing business based in the Croydon area, who are on the lookout for a Junior Buyer to join their team. The successful Junior Buyer will help source the right products at the right price, while ensuring quality and efficiency. Business to business buying experience is necessary for this role, and international experience highly desirable!
Junior Buyer Responsibilities:
- Replenish stocks
- Putting together logical buying proposal to the purchasing manager
- Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders as required
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
The Junior Buyer will have / be:
- At least two years as Junior Buyer experience
- Business to business stock buying experience
- Experience working in a grey market is highly desirable
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- International buying experience is going to be a big plus!
