With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the business continues to grow and is now looking to strengthen its procurement function with the appointment of a Junior Buyer, based at their site in Leamington Spa.The RoleAs Junior Buyer, you will be primarily responsible for the ongoing procurement of proprietary materials, components, and equipment. You will take full responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management, ensuring timely, scheduled deliveries of goods that align with customer demand, and that stock levels are maintained to meet business requirements.Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements of the company.Ensure raw materials, components, and production supplies are ordered accurately and delivered on time to support assembly, distribution, and installation schedules.Set up and maintain material, supplier, and planning system data in the MRP/ERP system.Gather the resources needed to address action items and follow up on all material shortage-related issues.Communicate and escalate issues as needed to stakeholders, working closely with operations, quality, warehousing, and transportation to resolve material issues and respond to consumption patterns.Generate data using SAP and Excel, creating ..... full job details .....
