Junior Business Central Consultant

OverviewJunior Business Central Consultant — Northampton (Full-time | Hybrid: office-based with occasional client site visits) — Salary: Up to £45K

This role would also suit someone currently working as a Business Analyst who is looking to take the next step into a consultant role, with full support and training provided.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to analyse business processes and capture requirements

Evaluate requests for feasibility and conduct cost/benefit analysis

Develop a strong understanding of Business Central data structures and process flows

Produce functional specifications for clients and technical documentation for development teams

Design, coordinate, and execute test plans with colleagues and clients

Support solution deployments and monitor post-implementation performance

Provide client support, including hands-on end-user assistance when required

Experience and Qualifications

A background or strong interest in finance, accounting, or supply chain management

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience as a Business Analyst with a desire to move into consulting, or prior ERP exposure

Enthusiasm for project management (a plus but not essential)

A proactive learner with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence (required for client visits)
