Are you a Service Engineer from an Electrical or Refrigeration background looking to branch out into Biomedical and Laboratory Equipment for a world-leading global business that can offer expert training, autonomy, flexibility and the opportunity to work across both Cambridge and Europe?

In this Monday to Friday role, you will be servicing, repairing and maintaining a variety of lab equipment such as cascade and ultra-low temperature refrigeration devices . You will cover primarily a Cambridge patch, with occasional travel to Europe for 1 week at a time, usually 6 weeks a year.

This company is the UK wing of a global leader in the supply and service of bespoke laboratory equipment used in universities, hospitals and pharmaceutical research institutions. They are looking to expand their UK maintenance team, working to validate and service ultra-low temperature refrigeration equipment

This role would suit a Service Engineer or similar looking to gain entry into the lab/biomedical sectory from a Electrical or Refrigeration background who is looking for an autonomous, field based position covering Cambridge and occationally Europe (6 weeks per year).

The Role:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining ultra-low temperature Lab equipment
• Full training on biomedical freezers and cascade refrigeration devices
• Occationally working in Europe, usually 6 weeks per year
• 40 hours a week, flexible working hours
• Covering a primarily a Cambridge patch, with occasional travel to Europe

The Person:

• Service Engineer or similar
• Electrical or refrigeration background
• Full UK Driving License
