Junior Audit Assistant 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract - On site Location: Shirley Salary: 25-26k + Benefits About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Audit Assistant to join our finance team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in auditing, finance, and compliance within a fast-paced business environment. Working closely with the Audit and Finance teams, you will support audit reviews, data analysis, and process improvements while gaining valuable exposure to financial controls and business operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with internal audit reviews and testing activities. Gather, analyse, and validate financial and operational data. Support the preparation of audit reports and working papers. Review processes and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Follow up on audit recommendations and action plans. Maintain accurate records and audit documentation. Provide administrative support to the wider finance team as required. About You Degree, AAT qualification, or studying towards an accounting/finance qualification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical and organisational skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Eager to learn and develop within a finance or audit career.
