Candidate required: Junior / Assistant Brickwork Estimator Job Type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Industry: Construction Location: Wokingham, Berkshire The role and about the client: ITS Construction Professionals South are working with an established and successful brickwork and masonry contractor who are looking to appoint a Junior / Assistant Estimator to join their team in Wokingham. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career within brickwork estimating and pre-construction, working alongside an experienced team and gaining hands-on experience across live tenders and projects. You will be involved in supporting the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, learning how to price brickwork packages, complete take-offs, obtain supplier quotations and understand the commercial side of specialist construction. The role would suit someone with some previous construction experience who is keen to develop their estimating career, or a recent construction-related graduate looking for an opportunity to progress within a specialist contractor. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with the preparation of brickwork and masonry estimates. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Carrying out material and quantity take-offs. Assisting with labour and material pricing. Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
