Junior Architectural Technician/ Technologist

Morson is currently looking for a Junior Architectural Technician for a Bristol based studio who focus on the technical design, practical construction details, and regulatory compliance of building projects, converting design concepts into buildable plans. Their responsibilities would include producing CAD drawings, managing BIM models, advising on materials, and coordinating project information as well as Technical Design; so developing detailed construction plans and specifications for various projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
BIM andamp; Software: Utilizing CAD and BIM software to create 3D models and technical drawings.
Collaboration: Working alongside architects, engineers, and project teams to turn concepts into practical, sustainable, and buildable solutions.
Site Support: Investigating materials, providing technical advice during project phases, and contributing to health and safety assessments.
Approval Coordination: Assisting with the submission of technical details for planning and building regulations approval.

Requirements;
Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., Revit).
Sound knowledge of construction techniques and local regulatory standards.
Strong technical detailing skills.

Typical Experience;
Relevant qualification in architectural technology or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar practice-based role
