Operations Clerk - Freight Forwarding (Junior Role)Location: Heathrow Area, West LondonJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,000About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Junior Operations Clerk to join our freight forwarding team based in the Heathrow area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some existing exposure to freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade who is looking to develop a long-term career within a growing business.The role will initially focus on supporting LHR Air Import operations, providing hands-on experience in a fast-paced operational environment. A structured training plan will then provide exposure across the wider business, including Air Imports, Air Exports, Key Accounts, and our 3PL operations.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and process customer bookings accurately.Arrange collections and deliveries for international shipments.Prepare import, export, and cross-trade documentation.Assist with customs entries and compliance processes.Liaise with clients regarding shipment documentation and requirements.Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.Assist with invoicing and operational administration.Update and maintain records within CargoWise.Support quotation requests within agreed KPI timeframes.Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and the Operations Manager to ensure smooth workflow.Training and DevelopmentYou will begin within Air Imports and receive structured training and exposure across:Air ..... full job details .....
