Based in Hertfordshire, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, including data centres, tunnel ventilation systems, and architectural developments.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Acoustic Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing noise control solutions, including attenuation systems, acoustic enclosures, and louvres.
- Conducting acoustic surveys, modelling, and preparing detailed reports.
- Collaborating with the team on project management tasks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Providing input into tenders and bid proposals to support business development efforts.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of noise control principles and acoustic design.
- Proficiency in acoustic modelling software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
- A proactive and organised approach to project management.
- A keen interest in developing a career in the noise control and acoustics industry.
Your daily activities will involve:
- Conducting on-site acoustic surveys and measurements.
- Developing and refining acoustic models to meet project specifications.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the design team to create bespoke noise control solutions.
- Managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met.
