We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented-Junior Accountant-to join our expanding finance team. Whether you are a recent graduate or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification, this role offers valuable exposure to bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, financial reporting, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, costs, and profitability
• Produce sales and performance analysis reports to support business decision-making
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Provide financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting for senior management
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or be actively studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• The confidence to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Experience

• Previous bookkeeping or finance experience
• Payroll administration experience
• Experience using accounting software
• Exposure to management accounts and financial reporting
• Understanding of project costing, budgeting, and profitability analysis
