Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading defence sector organisation to recruit a JSM Architect on an ongoing contract basis, 6 months minimum. Remote working - UK based. ASAP start. SC clearance required.RoleThe JSM Architect (SC Cleared) will take technical ownership of the Jira Service Management platform, defining its overall architecture, structure, and long-term scalability.Lead the design and management of workflows across JSM, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise service management standards.Own configuration management within JSM, establishing governance, structure, and consistency across projects and instances.Define and maintain the platform''s data model and schema design, including request types, asset/configuration management, and SLA structures.Design and oversee integrations between JSM and wider toolchains (e.g. CMDB, Jira Software, Confluence, monitoring and ITSM tools).Act as technical authority on JSM best practice, advising stakeholders on platform strategy, roadmap, and future capability.Collaborate with service management, IT operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected JSM solutions.Troubleshoot complex configuration, workflow, and integration issues, providing expert-level resolution.Keep up to date with JSM and ITSM developments, driving continuous improvement of the platform architecture.ProfileThe JSM Architect (SC Cleared) will have significant ..... full job details .....
