Joint 1:1 English and Maths Tutor - Barnsley

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for tutors in Barnsley! At Prospero, we work with local authorities to arrange 1:1 tuition for students accessing alternative provision. What will you be tutoring? The majority of our tuition referrals are for joint English and Maths, and a lot of our students are working below expected age range. Here''s an example role we have available at the moment in Barnsley! Location: S74, within a local library. Start Date: ASAP. End Date: Ongoing. Hours: 10 hours per week Pay: 20 - 30 per hour. The Role: English and Maths tuition for a Year 8 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3. Students SEN status is ADHD and ASD. When and where will you be tutoring? Our tuitions can be held in a number of places: Within schoolsWithin libraries / community centresWithin students homesAt all of the above locations, there will always be an appropriate adult present for your tuition sessions. Our tuitions take place within school hours, 9am - 4pm, and our clients are very flexible on timings. When a role becomes available, well come to you as the tutor to set timings for when you''d like to take on the hours. We can accommodate if you''d like to work part-time, or fill your schedule if you''re looking for full-time work. What qualifications do you need?
