Joinery Preconstruction Manager

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join an established specialist subcontractor, taking responsibility for construction programming, design coordination and the management of an in-house CAD department.This is a senior, client-facing role combining pre-construction planning, programming, design coordination and team management.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed construction and delivery programmes using AstaDevelop and maintain programmes in line with client and project requirementsManage an in-house department of four CAD DraughtsmenAttend pre-construction, client and design meetingsUnderstand client requirements, drawings and project informationAct as the key link between clients and the CAD/design departmentTranslate information from client and design meetings into clear instructions for the CAD teamManage drawing priorities, expectations and information flowUnderstand and interpret design information without being responsible for producing the drawings personallyWork closely with Contracts Managers to ensure projects are properly planned ahead of deliveryCoordinate programme, design and project information between internal departmentsManage workloads and priorities across the CAD teamAttend client meetings and sites as requiredThe Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will ideally come from a Project Management, Pre-Construction or similar background within specialist subcontracting, with strong experience of construction programming and ..... full job details .....
