Joinery Factory Operative

Edge Staffing are currently recruiting for a Joinery Factory Operative / Installer on a temporary to permanent basis, on behalf of a well-established company based in Washington.

This is a varied role, working within the factory manufacturing bespoke joinery and furniture, as well as travelling to customer sites to complete installations.

The Role:

• Manufacturing bespoke joinery and furniture within the workshop
• Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling materials
• Using woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools
• Installing finished products at customer sites
• Working across commercial, retail, education and secure environments
• Occasional overnight stays when working away
• Full training provided for solid surface materials and custodial environments

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Requirements:

• Previous joinery or carpentry experience
• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Joinery preferred
• Valid CSCS Card
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work both within the workshop and on-site
• Willingness to undergo vetting clearance
• Right to work in the UK

A clean driving licence is preferred, and any additional relevant qualifications such as First Aid or woodworking certifications would be advantageous.
